2012 ROMS/TOMS User Workshop

2012 ROMS/TOMS User Workshop, Windsor Atlântica Hotel, Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, October 22 - 25, 2012

Dear all,

We are inviting you to participate at the next ROMS/TOMS User Workshop to be held at the Petrópolis Conference Room, at the Windsor Atlântica Hotel on Copacabana beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The invitation is open to everybody that wants to attend. This is the first ROMS workshop in South America

The user community in Brazil and South America has increased substantially over the last few years. We are trying to organize the best workshop ever in Brazil. The current plan is to have a three-day regular ROMS Workshop with lectures, oral presentations, and posters. Additionally, we are planning to add a fourth-day to concentrate on
modern observational programs and how they can be combined with models to get the best estimate of the ocean state. We know that the Brazilian scientific and modeling communities are particularly interested in advanced observational systems and modeling techniques.
